A number of individuals sustained injuries following a Delta Airlines flight originating in Los Angeles to Sydney experienced rough air on Friday morning.
The flight, numbered 41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it touched down at Sydney Airport, an airline spokesperson informed. Four flight attendants sustained injuries.
Local paramedics reported they treated a total of five people, and transported three of them to the hospital with minor injuries that included spinal discomfort and headaches. Those affected were between their thirties and seventies.

There were 245 passengers and fifteen staff members on the aircraft, the official added, clarifying that the plane touched down "without further incident" at the airport at 6:48 a.m. local time on Friday morning.
